Good Day Mural
Good Day! mural is designed and executed with local love; I have fond memories growing up in the neighborhood. The design is an imagination of a spirited Crown Point beach/bay day and is stylistically inspired by the bold supergraphics of California designer Barbara Stauffacher Solomon.
It features local palms, a kooky seabird, a message in a bottle, a lucky 33' sailboat, a commuter bike, a surfboard quiver, and includes other special quirks like a confusing nautical flag message and a 6-fingered "peace" sign hand. The mural is funded by the neighbor-members of the Crown Point Neighborhood Association and the wall was graciously provided by PB Express Market. The wall was executed by Channin Fulton and her dad, Doug Fulton, who was raised in Mission Beach.
Logos and various brand items were also designed for the Crown Point Neighborhood Association in addition to the mural to help fundraise for community projects.
